Need somewhere near to Victoria or the Northern Quarter with a set menu in the £20ish bracket.

We’ve done Solita twice and I’d happily do it again, but I’m open to other suggestions.

I’m old with kids, so I’ve completely lost touch.

I've never been to Solita so that'd be fine with me. (Anything I can get the train to is fine with me, tbh.)

Are we decided on the date?

Could you all pile into the Marble Arch? I've not been in since it was refurbished, but food was always decent, then you could settle in for a bit of a session.

Might not have a Christmas menu, which would be a bonus.

That all you can eat place in the Printworks (obviously you have to be well on the way to being absolutely w@nkered before considering such a place).

Mr Cooper's in the Midland Hotel, within your budget and with a proper chef. Blu Pig is a good alternative and for drinks in the NQ Smithfield Market Tavern (60p less per pint than the same brewery in MackieMayor next door). Mondays there are deals everywhere.

Bundobust? it's not your 3courses but you choose your own curry bits and buy at the bar, awesome food and cracking beer

pie and ale sounds good too

Mr Coopers is anything but cheap and the portions are, well minimal. No doubt its decent food but they don't do set menu's and by the time you have added some form of spuds and a veg to your mains your £20 has gone and is not coming back. No starter, no pud and no full stomach 😐

Was in Bakerie the other day. Nice food but I thought it a tad overpriced. Heard good things about Pie and Ale (though apparently they're run by Bakerie so what do I know). They do a 2 course Xmas menu for £19.95 though. Three for £24.95

Keen for this too, I'll also likely get the train so accessible to Victoria would be ideal.

Anywhere in Northern Quarter is okay for Victoria station, though Thomas St end is closer
