A bottle of Turntable whisky Bittersweet Symphony. An excellent blend including Craigellachie and Blair Athol. Very rich and plenty of Christmas flavours. Recommended.

Finished my bottle of Laphroaig on Christmas Eve. I have a bottle of Balvenie for 2024 (it takes me about a year to drink a bottle at home) sitting on the kitchen side.
Very (and deliberately) different, hoping it will be good - I normally like something quite peaty but this is much less intense.
I may have one to see in the New Year but the next few days are loaded with work and driving so sobriety and good sleep is required.
