I have realised that these two material goods I am coveting could be a similar price.

9-18mm wide angle lens or
Basic track bike

Which would you get?

get the lens, track bike gets boring unless you race track and hte lens will hold its value...

Then buy a battered old steel road bike and fixie it up, with custom paint job n the rest then get in reet close and take a really nice picture of it!

Edit: If you're a nikon man, get the lens, then come to Leeds and I'll lend you my track bike for the day and you can lend me your nice glass!

Show us some pics so we can judge whether you justify a decent lens.

I'm guessing you are not a track champ 😛

There's no possible reason to buy a track bike unless you want to race, which I do, hence needing the bike!

Sadly not a Nikon user meehaja 🙂

Shopping for track bikes is hard though, search results are polluted with fixie trendy crap.

Lens - make money out of the pics you take with it and then buy a better track bike. Easier than buy bike win stuff then buy lens with the spoils.
