I found a bundle of cheques I forgot to bank. Almost a fat bikes worth 😀
They are almost a year old, if I present them at the bank will they still be honored? I could equally send them back to those who made them out to me for replacement.
Googling is inconclusive. Some say six month limit, others longer.

6 months but there's no reason the originator shouldn't send you a replacement.

Six months, after that the bank may ask the payer to confirm the cheque us still valid. Otherwise just ask them to reissue the cheque
