Is it a nightmare for parking, specifically for the Jazz Arena?

Thank you. ๐Ÿ™‚

Parking should not be a big problem. Lots of pay parking within a short walk. If you are happy to walk for ten minutes or so you can find somewhere free to park.

Currently avoiding bike shops apart from my impending visit to my lbs! That won't stop me from checking out their many demo bikes. ๐Ÿ™‚

Which venues are they using? are you planning on going to?

The Northplace redevelopment means one of the big car parks is currently shut (the plan is to reopen once contracts are signed,) but the redevelopment means it will be shut permanently at some point in the near future.

Parking is not cheap anywhere central, well Bath Road isn't too bad, but tends to be rammed. Depending on time of day, I would mention most of the car parks are free at night, the time does vary might be 6 might be 7/8

Do you need to drive, there is a mainline train station and a short taxi ride to most places. Again depends on what time you are coming going.

There is on street parking, but a) you will piss off residents, b) you may find your driving around a while depending on where you try.

No, Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

mrmo - it's the Jazz Arena and starts at 7.00 pm. Not committed myself yet as it's a long drive from the southern half of Hampshire. Thanks for your info. ๐Ÿ™‚

Jazz Arena is Montpellier Gardens, So if you want to walk through from the Bath road probably the best place to try for parking. Probably the closest as well. There are a few spaces in Montpellier along the road, but usually in use, and during the festival I suspect will be long gone.

Depending on what you intend to do after, ie drive straight home or hotel, train probably won't be an option. You can get to Bristol till quite late, but not much further I believe.

If its after 5:30 just pick a office car park in town somewhere...plenty of them.

Realistically since the council made everything pay and display there is loads of car parks
