So....after some guidance on what are good products...
Generally clean alu wheels with car shampoo mixed with water. However need to use Wonder Wheels yesterday as brake dust was not shifting. So is this ok? Don't want to strip lacquer by overusing.
Also, best product to revive black plastic trim?
Local auto factors sell Autoglym, Meguiers, Poor Boys, etc.
Thanks.
I like autoglym bumper care for black trim .
To get the wheels really clean a few goes with something like iron-x would help.
If your local place stocks poor boys gear ( ie halfords and the like don't) they'd probably be able to offer some advice for the wheels.

+1 ^^^
GTechniq C4 is the real deal for black plastics restorer. I use whole line up of their products, quality stuff.
I have no recommendations, but I think the word you were looking for there is "detailers". (-:
Barbeque cleaner and silicone spray here supplemented with fairy liquid. Good for the bike too.
