I've been trying to watch The Hurt Locker DVD all night but it keeps not reading the disc. No it's not my DVD player(x2). It's ASDA'S useless cheap DVDs. Spend all day trying to keep em all happy, then they sell you a duff DVD for the priviledge. Bollocks. Gonna get a shit day's work outta me tomorrow. Quality counts right?

I work there BTW. For my sins.

I guess they won't have a special low quality production line for ASDA so just take it back and exchange it 🙂

Do Asda sell different DVDs to other shops then? Is there a special "inferior quality disc" version just for them?

the one I got is. It's ****ed. not the first time. I dunno if they are worse quality or not, all I know is I've bought 3 dvd's, from my employer, on my shite wages, and I should be able to watch my dvd's in peace without ****ups. right?

I'm not gonna go back and ****in exchange it. just get my money back. got the gist of it anyway. woulda been nice to relax with a film.

If Hurt Locker is £5 - then I have a great way for you to save £5 - the film is crap.

I don't believe that there are different types of disc used to make cheap DVDs for ASDA et al.

So you got 'Hurt Locker'? Isn't that pretty violent? Surely not the best film to relax with?

What you want is a nice David Arrenburra nature documentary. Or Koyaanisqatsi or something like that. Not flah bang wallop and all that.

David Arrenburra

Slowly, gradually and probably accidently, the true identity is emerging...

The Hurt Locker isn't crap. It's ok. There are certainly more crap films for a fiver. Jarhead is a lot better though.

DVD's are all produced by the same people and distributed, it's your DVD player on its way out.

Lol at the STW film club recommentations 🙂

DVDs and CDs occasionally come damaged and won't play. It happens, happened to me maybe a couple of times - just take it back swap it for a different film. They'll have done it loads of times before.

True, but you do get faulty DVD discs, so no necessarily the player.
