Does anyone have any recommendations for cheap barefoot shoes?

I've had a couple of pairs of vivobarefoot in the past but the prices now seem really high.

I'm after something simple, I'm not going to be running or anything. I just find them comfortable wear after shoving my feet in rigid bike shoes or travelling.

What about those 'beachwalker' shoes (or similar)? Cheap as chips.

https://freetbarefoot.com/ seem to have some cheaper models - no idea if they're any good or not.

Sometimes vivo come up on sportspursuit, but agree prices have gone through the roof.

If you like them then Vivo sell reconditioned, returned shoes at Revivo.com. Discount is about 20-50% of rrp depending on condition. I honestly couldn't tell the "excellent" condition ones I got had ever been worn.

Good shout on the Revivo!

I bought some Vivo's at the beginning of the year. They were too tight lengthways though, would've crippled me if I'd ran in them so had to return them. Then they just seemed to run out of stock so I couldn't even get a bigger size.

So, choose your size carefully. Go a size up maybe. Mine were the Vivobarefoot Primus Trail.

Bought some of these as a suck it and see if they’re rubbish experiment last Feb from evil Amazon.
They’re still in one piece and to me they’re comfortable and worth the price, they ain’t running shoes though.

I say that having bought a pair a couple of years ago for about £110! But yes they do seem to have ecalated somewhat. Also realised they are not for the 'heavier' wearer. They were too thin for me, even pedestrian crossing bumps hitting the heel were jarring.

There were Merrel Trail Gloves on Amazon last week for £44.

I've also bought Voovix off Amazon and also Wihtin. Both are good but I wouldn't run in them.

I agree that Vivos are expensive, but I’ve had a pair for nearly 9 years and they’re still functionally fine
