Anyone watching it? (or am I missing someone's previous post?)

Just sitting down with a few beers and sky+ before trawling the net drunkenly looking for copies of Shadow of the Colossus and Final fantasy 7

Interesting subject...Utter **** of an arse-hat presenting it.
Managed to suffer him for all of 15 mins. I had a 48k and was enjoying reminiscing but couldn't put up with him!

They missed a lot of early 90s masterpieces though.

Meh, Sonic wasn't anything new. It was just a Sega version of Super Mario Bros.

Platform game where you collect coins and jump on creatures to kill them?

lots of big game changing games missing there. Gran turismo? Metal gear?
No bullet hell shooters, no RPG's (FF7?), missed out MUD's (like WoW was an original concept). But I suppose it's good just to see a "grown up" program on the subject.

good programme... but where were the sports games (not including wee sports)?
no driving games? no Outrun, no Mario Kart, no F-Zero, no Gran Turismo, no TOCA, no Colin McRae?
No football games? no FIFA, no Sensible Soccer, no Kick Off 2, no Pro Evo?
shame.

and NO LEMMINGS!?!?!?

I didn't watch it all but... No Goldeneye?!? Wasn't a brand new concept or anything but surely the best FPS?

Goldeneye was just a fancy Wolfenstein.

There didn't seem to be any "God" games though?

Definitely should have included Lemmings.

The Sims was on there. Life simulator or God game? Either works for me.
