It's a particularly autumn pastime I think, that and the doors, plundering and the rest, not too dark cold and wet that you're inside, but not too light either.
Not so much a trick either, but now have memories of playing about in the evenings on local building site, no fences in those days, who needs an adventure playground when you have a slew of half-built timber frame houses ? 🙂
