Well, to start off we all know that channelfive is usually utterley bobbins, but the reviews said this programme was actually very serious
A documentary about a young girl awaiting trial for child abuse charges after her child died
I can only say that the whole thing was tragic, I was honestly gobsmacked at the outcome of the trial
Incredibly sensitively dealt with, and I'm left feeling pretty numb 🙁
I was hunting around looking for something to watch and chanced upon it, sounded interesting and started to watch this young woman (with a strangely small mouth) wilst she talked about thinking about the court case, thinking about the jury, hoping they'd believe her, hoping she'd be free - I was wondering what she'd done, shoplifting, drugs or some part of an orangised crime. It was a decent amount of time before the penny dropped, mostly I have to say because she seemed completely wrapped up in her own predicament, but no - I think she felt victimised, but she was far from the victim in that sorry tale.
Had to stop watching, I've recorded it and may have another go tomorrow, but based on nothing but the short bit I saw, I don't want to, I wouldn't enjoy it.
Can't bring myself to watch it.
