A complaint has been made about the presence of the police helicopter at the Grenfell Tower fire.

I have no idea if his complaint is in any way justified, but maybe nor does anyone else so maybe it should be considered by the enquiry.
He is grieving and looking for answers, poor bloke.
Ukcop's view is..
There is no doubt that this man is grieving. But what about the crew of that helicopter? Focusing on them alone, how do we think they felt that night?
We suspect that someone with an agenda has planted this seed for this poor soul. Call us cynical.
I'm struggling to argue against any of that.
Yes, I saw that too.
You are right about the helicopter crew, it must have been grim for them, and pretty much everyone else involved.
But like I say, there may be a valuable lesson to be learned if we look. You would never want the crew to feel any fault, but we might be able to say 'you did everything you could, but there may be a better way next time'
What if people did go to the roof expecting rescue?
You don't have to have an agenda to want to know, would have been nice if it could have been looked at without a 'complaint' but he's lost 6 of his family so he's not going to be thinking about the niceties.
When I first read it I thought surely nobody would have thought that, but if that's what their 999 calls suggests, you're probably right.
