Now she is renewing her passport Mrs Zip is finally going to change her surname to her married name.
Does she tick both renew and change name on the form? She's got about 6 months left and I'd hate to pay out,have them change her name and send passport back with just 6 months.
Is a copy of the wedding certificate sufficient?

both boxes ticked , fee placed in , the marriage certs - not a copy - same for the DVLA.
Mine's got 7 years to go on hers before she changes her surname!
Official copies are fine, order them online.
We lost our wedding certificate the day after our wedding - thrown out at in-laws in an over-zealous tidying frenzy - so official copies are all we've got.
MrsMomo has just changed hers, old passport only issued a year ago, full fee charged for a new 10 year passport!
