Chalet almost booked.....
....heading 9th July > are the lifts and trails open for MTB's in July ?
Don't need anything too serious as my main riding buddy will be my 9 yr old son (but he's after uplifts!)

You will get uplift at most main lifts, however most of the trails in the entire valley are illegal to ride in July and August, with 12 exceptions. See [url= http://world.chamonix.com/PDF/planVTTEn.pdf ]HERE[/url].
Some of the DH trails may be a big bite for a 9 year old.
