re-jigging a bit of the piping in the heating circuit. i know there's a fir bit of guff in there from previous work. should i go for a complete flush to the lowest point? connect mains to highest radiator in the loop and blast it all out? or perhaps connect it at the departure end and flush out the other more like?
Partial drain to lose pressure, drop a bottle of cleaner in the top of an upstairs rad, top up again and bleed.
Run heating for a few days then full drain down and flush through. Then don't forget a bottle of inhibitor when you refill.

Think last time I did this is was about 3 years between filling with cleaner and flushing it out...
thanks all,
i gave it a good flush out, having discovered hose attachements on the departure and return manifolds (is that what they'e called in english?) so now i'm going to put a cleaner in. most of the pipes are PER or 'muticouche' as it's called here - basically an Acorn type sandwich structure pipe. does this change my requirement for a cleaner?
