[#3359788]

I ran a Topic about a recent run in with Center Parcs over some bookings we made.

http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/ot-center-parcs-website-error-there-mistake-where-so-i-stand-help

For those that helped or may be interested the result is Center Parcs have contacted us today and re-instated all 4 holidays we booked ๐Ÿ˜€
They came through in the end and have now stood by their own T's and C's by honouring the bookings.
A result for the man on the street for once, good to see that a letter to the CEO of a company can carry some weight.

Thanks again.

Well done, I hope you and your family enjoy your holidays and don't forget to big up their eventual good service.

Aye, we once came back to our lodge to find our toothbrushes smelling of sh*t after a run in with a cleaner.

Enjoy

Dont think so.
We got all the ones we booked-wanted.

Mine has a hot tub time machine...

Dont use a toothbrush anyway. Take them out and put them on the bedside.

So they didn't cock up the result, quite the opposite.

Cock up:
Initally upsetting the Mrs and throwing their weight around, making her feel to blame, not sticking their hand up and saying we F****d up spouting they could what they want and cancel whenever they want!
Stating it was in their T's and C's, if that was the case then the customer would end up with Zero rights.

Their behaviour motivated me to look into their T's and C's and with the help of many of the STW members found they were indeed in Breach of contract.
After a plain and simple letter to the CEO pointing out some facts:
They U-turned and have now honoured the holidays.

Price in the end to me was at least 1/2 what they should be.
Although they are now advertising deals as good again albeit in term time.

Day after us booking they said their site was miss displaying prices and that we should have known ?!??!? and made other various accusations.

We made 4 genuine bookings based on the fact that they were offers that they post up weekly.

Anyway they have done the right thing now, eventually although we had to point out they should stick to their side of the T's and C's to get them to honour the bookings.
