Any thoughts on a nice hotel to stay in for a couple's mini-break?

I've narrowed it down to The Lowry Hotel, Radisson Edwardian or Macdonald Hotel and Spa.

Anyone got any personal experience of these hotels?

Thanks.

One word: Sacha's. Look it up on Trip Advisor.

The Radisson Edwardian is very nice and pretty central too, more so than the Lowry. Never been to the Lowry but it goes without syaing it has a great reputation.

Also as someone mentioned above, Great John Street Hotel is meant to be very swish.

The mint hotel is nice and right in the centre with basement parking.

Lovely restaurants, and the rooms are fitted out real nice, including iPod docking stations and apple macs free of charge.

hhm, lot's of choice, looks like can't go wrong with any of these really.

Think I'll go for Sacha's as it's the best value!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Stayed at the Radisson Edwardian

Great looking from the outside. It's built on the old Free Trade Hall.

Inside it's just a swish modern hotel. Nice though. Nice bar.

We had an Al Fresco suite which had an internal balcony?!
