Following yet another issue and being as this place is generally a font of knowledge...
Does anyone have any recommendations for a freight/courier service that meets the following:
Daily scheduled collection
Next day UK mainland
Upto 6m lengths network wide
Offshore services to non mainland UK addresses, possibly Eire too.
Pallet services available.
Not tuffnells or dx.

Consider this a bump to this fascinating topic. I'm in a similar scenario, for a one off job sending to Aberdeenshire which seems to be off limits for nearly everyone who offer bulky/non palletised delivery (i.e. 40Kg, 2.2m long...). Any ideas welcome?

Judging from the amount of dispatches currently causing trouble I think that might actually be what Tuffnells planned to use for their trunks Alex. Certainly the lorries which should be doing the work seem no more real
