MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
So....20+ year old storage heaters being replaced with current versions. At same time re-vamp of rooms with decoration, new carpets, etc.
So....
(A) Fit storage heaters first and cut carpets around their feet or
(B) fit carpets first then place storage heater feet on top of said carpets?
Was originally (A).
I also sense it will be more likely that we may change carpets than storage heaters in the future.
I've fitted hundreds of storage heaters for my job. Carpet first, then storage heaters on top. If you want to take the store heaters out to fit a new carpet in the future then - unscrew front cover, unscrew inner cover, remove bricks and elements, disconnect flex, unscrew the two small screws either side at the top to remove heater. It's quite quick really.
