There is a lot of boll#x on social media about car insurance being invalid if you drive during a red weather warning, but from a law enforcement pov you are still insured, however if you drive dangerously and not to the conditions of the road this may invalidate your policy and get you prosecuted.

doesnt seem to stop people putting their cars on their roof in benign conditions though does it ?
