MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
I have two addresses. I am on the electoral roll at both.
I have looked online but keep finding conflicting opinions on if there is any problem having my car V5 stating a different address to my car insurance.
Any idea who I should contact to confirm this, DVLA, Police? Trying to ask advice from a car insurance company results in a higher premium because I 'have told them the car may sometimes be at a higher risk location'.
V5 currently lists higher risk address but I spend most of time at the other.
Doesn't matter if v5 is different. Just make sure your licence is at you main address and the car is insured for your main address.
Are you sure you should be registered at both for the electoral role? Wouldn't that give you 2 votes?

You can be registered at two different addressees but it is illegal to vote in both.
Do you have to declare one as you voting one?
When I looked it up it didn't mention that. Not really sure how they'd ever know.
V5 should be the insurance address. There's normally a question that asks if the car is registered to the address for insurance. You should really inform them of the exact situation to avoid any wriggle room.
I've got similar, 1 vehicle owned by the company which has its own premises but V5 is in my name and address, insurance in my name and address. Business address declared as a location the vehicle is often at.

Not in my experience. They want to that know it's in your name, and the address where it is kept.
