We recently bought a cheap, old Renault Modus but it is missing some of the rear headrests. Do you know if these are (largely) universal, or if other Renault ones should fit (Clio, Scenic) or are they all very different? They are the type that fit over the top of the seats when in lowest position.

Don't know if you're anywhere near York, but u-pull-it is an excellent scrapyard for things like that.
You pay £1 to go in then strip what you want and take it back to pay for it.
They currently have 3 Modusses (?) showing on site:

Also a selection of other Renaults there too. Not sure on croxx-compatibility but if you measure between the legs then there's a good chance they're common. When I google Renault Modus rear headrests it comes up with lots of Clio results.

I used to love the old scrappies - I didn't realise any still existed. Many a happy hour spent in our local one getting bits for my old Mini and Mk1 Escort 🙂

I had a Clio 182 (which I loved and still miss) - Renparts were a godsend!

Wow an old fashioned, climb the pile and get the part yourself, scrap yard! I remember them with love and dread as I had some battles to get a few parts! Always remember dad chiselling a hole through the floor of a car to get to a gear box mount we needed.

Yeah, they’re about, there’s one just outside of Devizes, Jones Motor Spares. Been around as far back as I can remember, at least fifty years; I used to use them for bits for my Morris Minor, Chrysler Horizon and Vauxhall Chevette.
Copart have sort of replaced breakers, but they only sell complete vehicles, they don’t break for spares. It’s possible that a lot of breakers buy wrecks from Copart for breaking up.
