None...last years MOT will be on the computerised system so you no longer have to take your current (expiring) certificate.

Handy to take last years MOT if you do have any days in credit, and they've system problems.

The current MOT certificate has expired. Does this change matters?

Re. paperwork, no. However, as the car now has no MOT, you need to pre-book said MOT before driving there.

Yep - the MOT is prebooked. I'm content on that front.
