Got a small patch of corrosion on the car floorpan
(MOT inspector confirmed it was superficial, for now)
Want to treat it before it gets any worse.
Was going to remove the rust with grit paper, and then paint \ re seal
Is this the correct approach? Any recommendations for what to treat it with!?

3m make wheels for drills/angle/air grinders which make rust removal much faster (3-4" iirc). Depends on how big the patch is. I tend to treat with a converter (bilt hamber make a gel which does well in tests, as does Fe 123). A good self etching primer, or epoxy once it is clean.
