We have got an E-Class estate which has a very large boot ! Its that big even our Boxer dog doesnt like it.
I would like to be able to divide it, partially for the dog and partially for other stuff. I can only find full height dividers online, I dont want a cage that stops us getting in to the boot from the back of the car, and it doesnt need to be full height as the dog wont jump over, and I never will fill to the ceiling of the car.

Make one? Two pieces of ply/mdf/anything, a couple of hinges and a latch or straps* to stop it folding back down and your sorted!
* Presuming you would want a folding version to save storage space.
I too would make one. You could do one with base and two sides, both folding, and with something like a couple of holes and some velcro to hold the upright corner.
Possibly easier with just one side - the middle of the boot or left as you look into the boot - as the other side would be formed by the inside of the car!

Already working on some ideas. I think a piece of mdf in the middle to act as a separator and then a skeleton frame to the corners of the boot
Just get a dog crate. Our dog loves his. They aren’t so big, even for a boxer. The crate takes up about 40% of the boot if our CRV.
Why wouldn't you want full height? Have you considered where a loose boxer would be heading should you have a bout of sudden massive deceleration? Or the boot contents for that matter.
Another vote for a crate (or full height). It's effectively a seat belt for the dog.
I always worry about being hit from behind in motorway traffic. If the boot pops, I'd hate the idea of my frightened dog loose in motorway traffic 😔. Also most car crates have an escape hatch at the back incase the boot can't open.
Guess it depends how much driving you do with them.
Ply base and a hinged side that folds up to become the divider, and a catch/keeper to keep it upright.
If you look up trunkliner carpet and a can of spray carpet adhesive you will end up with something fairly respectable even if your woodworking is horrific 🙂
