Car Air con only blows hot

Hi all,
More car fun. Air con only blows roasting hot air, car has climate control so that's an added complication. Cool at the start but rapidly heats up so I think the air mixer is functioning but I will need to check.

Compressor engages and spins with ac button pressed, disengages when switched off.

Fan on the rad/condenser doesn't spin at all. It spins freely by hand, engine was off, but assume it needs to be spinning to cool the condenser.

First things to check? Fuses and relays? Car is an old xsara picasso
