I knew the JH one but just couldn't place it until warton's last clue.

The prog one: I had not one clue, but trawled some prog sites- deleted it as that's not in the spirit of this game!

Sorry, so the Swan one is:

http://active-listener.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/thirty-classic-progressive-rock-albums.html

I have a mate who's occasionally mentioned Gnidrolog- I've never heard them, though.

Apols for cheating ๐Ÿ™

Sorry, the Gnidrolog one was because I did a search for it and discovered it has been re-released on CD. I remember being really taken with the cover when I saw ads for it in NME when it first came out.
The Jayhawks was a bit of a fluke, I knew I'd seen it somewhere, and did a scroll through my iTunes library; a mate had given it to me along with a load of other stuff on disc ages ago, but I'd never got around to listening to it.
Ok, a bit better known, plain blue sleeve, pink pixelated music note at top, small text across the note.
And I'm bloody impressed that anyone found Lady Lake! Well done! ๐Ÿ˜€

Nice one Dez. ๐Ÿ™‚
Who is it?!?

Whilst we're waiting, how about this one?

Small man with big dogs.
Bigger house in the background, patially obscured.

Now. That does seem familiar... Are the dogs angry looking? Or lying down??

I knew we'd be strolling down Obscurity Avenue when you two got stuck in.

As to the dogs, not telling.
Waaaay too much of a clue there as it is.
Not an obscure artist by any means, but an often overlooked album.

I think I know it. They're Wolfhounds aren't they? and all are on the grass? I can see it, but.. oldish solo bloke.. gaah!

Obscurity Avenue when you two got stuck in.
I purposely didn't do anything obscure!!

Still dunno CountZero's. But oh well.

How about.. a dark red background surrounds a photo of the band taken through a fish-eye lens. Looks like it's taken through a spy-hole cos it's round and it has red beads bordering it. The singer has his hands reaching towards the lens. Band name above...

Should be easy as not in the slightest bit obscure!

I really didn't think it would be that hard, considering one clever-clogs got Gnidrolog!
It's King Crimson, Beat, which was a pretty mainstream release.
