Just bought an Old Town Camper 15. I've a wee bit in canoes but not that much. Can the collective suggest some easy - moderate days out to get us started.

I'm based in Scottish Borders

My only recommendation is almost certainly too far away, I'm afraid! But I'll mention it anyway, as it's ace!

The Wye, between Ross and Monmouth, with an overnighter at the Saracen's Head in Symonds Yat.

Some bits of the Tweed would probably be fine to start out on, though I've never paddled it myself.
