Possibly a dumb question. Obviously well packed. Is it possible and safely so via Parcel Force?
FFS of course it's alright.
There should be a daily spot prize for the most stupid question...... 🙂
While this is clearly in the running for such a prize it deserves an answer. I can confirm that I have posted glass bottles in suitable packaging without incident, although obviously there are risks.
🙂
😆
Superb.
How do you think online wine merchants deliver their products? 😆
There wouldn't be room on Hora's desk for all the prizes.. 😕
You've got my address yeah?
I - for one - appreciate him taking the time to publicly humiliate himself
😉
Brilliant! You need to re-install the "should I post this on STW" filter mate.
Single bottle, not the usual case etc and remember a postie wont handle/know whats in it whereas a courier regularly deliverying cases of wine will know?!! Ya bugga's!!! 🙄

Try writing 'Fragile glass, handle with care' on the parcel.
It might work or they might realise it's from you and deliberately jump up and down on it, I know I would.
Throws a strop and storms out of thread crying
Ah, poor Hora. Don't be nasty to him; he's very sensitive. Bad enough, with Binners constantly bullying him all the time, without you lot adding to his misery.
Hora; just make sure that when you package it up, that you lie it on it's side, not have it upright. This helps to prevent sediment building up at the bottom of the bottle, keeps the cork moist and airtight, and keeps the wine better. And make sure the packaging is cool and dark.
I posted various items for a laugh (as you do....)
The apple and banana arrived just fine...no wrapping, just stamp and address written on...
you can buy special polystyrene "capsules" that you put the bottle into for mailing.

yep, and always with the cork end pointing to the left when you label it - that's crucial for safe delivery
