The aerial thread got me thinking, just curious what's out there really (ie, bored)

Winamp radio channels used to have police scanners available so I'm sure someone out there is broadcasting.

There's phone apps that do it. Not much from UK but plenty from US where ham radio guys relay everything they pickup. If there's an incident (mass shooting) you can listen to the local fuzz, it gets pretty manic at times.
