Me and the missus share our laptop but we have to log each other out of Hotmail before we sign in. You can open 2 accounts but if you refresh it goes to the latest one?

Use two browsers, we do that anyway and it works for Gmail.
I use Firefox and She uses IE.

Indeed, I also run 2 separate hotmail accounts via Outlook Express, both open at the same time.

I've only got IE at the mo and OE won't accept a non payed up MSN/Hotmail account.
will look in to another browser

You could upgrade to Windows Live mail, that will run 2 non-paying Hotmail accounts at the same time - me and the missus do it.
