I've put 3 in a KA, so almost definitely, they are a similar size.

3 in a Ka - must have been BMXs

I suppose you have to take the seat post out, but I guess I can live with that.

No. You have to have the drivers seat forward on the rails with the seat inclined forward slightly.

You also risk gouging/scratching.

Roof rack on the Aygo.

I would have thought that by putting a bike on top of an Aygo then there is a pretty igh risk that you wouldn't be able to drive into a headwind ๐Ÿ˜†

I had real trouble with a large size 06 Enduro but that was quite a large bike. I nearly broke a side window and the rear window doing it. The road bike shouldnt be a problem as the wheelbase is quite short but I wouldn't fancy the 29er.

Nope all 18" frames, wheels off seatposts in. Back seats down and still plenty of leg room. It was almost ike the tardis putting them in.

A Ka is a lot bigger than an Aygo.

I have only managed 3 in my focus with 3 blokes and probably enough kit for a whole weeks riding even tho we only went for the day.

I've put 3 bikes and kit in an Aygo before - 1 small, 1 medium and one XL MTB, wheels out, stack them in with the bags and stuff in the gaps as you go.

I had two mountain bikes and two 6foot blokes comfortably in my old Yaris.

Not a Aygo though. Buy something else- it'll become wearing.

It's a second car so it won't be often that I need to get the bike in it, I just wanted to know if it is possible if I absolutely have to do it.
As an aside, I test drove it last night and it is total gash, but that's what you get for your money and there isn't really an alternative at the moment here in Denmark unless I want a Suzuki (is it an Alto?)

Anyway I think we're going to order one tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚

Personally I'd rather get a VW Fox for a second car.
