Because I'm sure that those Wiggle adverts over to the right are pretending to be nice blue Chain Reaction ones.

Between this and the thread about advert boobies, I decided to turn Adblock+ off.

I think Leighton House did on the colour of their F1 cars, it was "invented" for the team and never seen it any where else. Could be wrong.

Wasn't there some dispute between Orange, the phone company, not the bike company, and one of the cheap airlines, Easyjet, I think, painting their aeroplanes orange ?
Can't remember the outcome.

Park Tools think they have copyrighted the colour blue.

The Orange/Easyjet row blew up because Easyjet wanted to get into the mobile phone business. No problem two companies using a similar house colour when there is no overlap in the type of business, but the real probability of confusion if two companies in the same business use the same house colour, even with different names, was too much. There is a legal term, 'passing off', which is used in these cases. Many firms have a specific Pantone colour mixed for them for all promotional and packaging purposes: Cadbury's purple, Coca Cola's red, Barclays turquoise...

Blimey... TWO people beat me to posting about IKB...

When did STW get culture? There wasn't any round here last time I looked...

Edit: My personal favourite bit about Yves Klein was that he used to daub naked female models with his blue paint and then have them dragged around a canvas to music... Genius...

They're everywhere...

The arrogance of someone who dares to criticise the frankly non-intrusive adverts of a site that's completely free to join and enjoy, and who doesn't even bother to subscribe as a premium member as an alternative is mind-boggling.

There should be a naked girl rolling about in the KIB IIRC. Wonderful decorations.
