Mrs SR and I have a deal. I want a dog, but Mrs SR - always the level-headed, practical one - says that's just not on the cards, as we have a big family, a small house, and we travel too much.

Whatever.

In any case, I proposed that if there was a lost dog that needed a home she couldn't possibly make us get rid of it - which she acknowledged.

So I figure if I could engineer it so that someone conveniently lost their dog and I could show up after work having heroically saved it from near-certain abandonment and loneliness, Mrs SR would have to accept it.

In light of this, can someone on here oblige me, and leave a dog somewhere in Cardiff at a pre-arranged time so that I can find it and take it home?

Pretty much any breed will do.

Thanks.

We're in exactly the same situation, we lost two Bassett hounds in the last year and the SO is adamant she won't have another dog.

Would prefer a sight hound/long dog if possible.

Lol.

I'll go and buy one, not feed it for a day. You text me when you're cooking dinner and I'll secretly let it loose in your back garden, ok?

Rescue rescue rescue....

Had a very negative experience with CAESSR; took a dog on than had a number of serious physical issues that had remained undiagnosed/undisclosed. Turns out the dog hadn't seen a vet for over half a year, and when we discussed it with them they told us to bring him back. I wasn't prepared to send him back to such crap care, so we kept him for the rest of his days...
