There's a Rights of Way officer position in Calderdale that's got a closing date very soon and from what I hear not a lot of interest. It would be amazing to have a mountain biker who understands trails and access from an MTB perspective in this job. Decent salary, you get to live in Calderdale, probably get to be outdoors a reasonable amount... anyone? Please!

Never again would I do that thankless job - being moaned at by everyone or threatened by landowners, no budget to work with and no-one in the LA willing to use legal enforcement 'cos all of the landowners are councillor's mates.
On the plus side wages have gone up £5k in the 12 years since I was a PROW officer
