My wife wants some new running shoes, they’re cheapest on the ASICS Clearance website but when I go on it my spider sense is telling me it’s a bit dodgy. Can anyone back me up or alternatively tell me to stop being a fool and cough up?

The evil sports direct had a lot of Asics cheap recently if that helps
As it end with .asics.com it means it is Asics themselves.
Seems ok. I’ve asked ASICS UK on twitter if it’s a legit site. Not sure I’d be expecting an answer today though... 🙂
Yeah it's fine. As Drac says, it's part of their official site.
I don’t doubt that it’s legit, but I can’t find a link to it anywhere from their mobile website. Location is sending me to to the /en-gb site from asics.com - also asics own website gives a cookie warning whereas the OP’s didn’t.
Maybe there’s a link to it from a European website? In the first instance of opening, all prices are in €.

If you go though the ordering process and they allow you to pay by PayPal then chances are it’s okay.
Thanks for the reassurance, I've sent the official site an e-mail checking as well. The reason I didn't like it was the lack of contact details bar an e-mail address and the lack of links from the official site. As said above, I guess if I can pay via PayPal then there's only so much harm that can be done.

Updated again. Shoes arrived within a week, no issues at all and so,e really good prices if you need some new runners.
