Yes I know google is my friend but some people say yes ,some no.
It will cost £1.40 to post and I can't get to the post office.

I think the stamps need to indicate their value.
So three stamps that say 2nd may not be acceptable but three that indicate 55p will be ok.
Maybe.

We always use to use 2 second class stamps to post to Europe which was a couple of pence over. Never had a problem. Postage to EU has recently gone up and is now 5 pence more than 2 second class stamps. So I just bought a load of 5p stamps to top up the 2 x 2nd class stamps.
