The Cobalt steel set at Machine Mart is really good (better than cheap hss sets and ti-nitride coated junk).

I once had some hired equipment at work with titanium bolts that were prone to seizure - the manufacturer actually supplied left hand cobalt steel bits to drill off the ti bolt heads / unscrew the remaining bolt.

And I'd still buy those cobalt ones over anything mentioned in that thread 🙂

(apart from maybe a pile of cheap Heller hss in very small sizes)
