I have recently bought a 'ruin' which is in need of major renovation, and whilst I am aiming to save some of the windows (big sashes) a lot of the casements are beyond repair.
So rather than getting windows made to measure, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any off the shelf Wooden windows that are of decent quality? I am ideally after 4 or 6 pane casements.
Not used them myself, but Jeld-wen are widely available.
I used La Porte for some oak French doors - maybe they make windows? The quality seems pretty good.
Quite happy with my Jeldwen's
cool will look into them
and hopefully out of them ๐ณ
Wickes, jewson, Travis perkins, magnet
Magnet ones seem to be pretty shonky quality hence the question ...
Try Ventrolla. They refurbish existing windows to conservation standard and can incorporate dg units in old casements.
Already had them around, and alot of the windows are too far gone, or they are beyond economic repair
