It needs an initial press to get the cursor right, then another press for Paste

Cursor flashes on a blank reply, I long-hold press and nothing happens (and cursor disappears)

Can paste into anything else, apart from here.

Weird.

I can paste directly fine from my Android phone but trying to create links is impossible as the link window just keeps flashing up then disappearing again.

Can't seem to be able to post pictures from Chrome photos any more either.

Might not be entirely helpful, but my phone came with SwiftKey keyboard installed and one of its functions is to use any text you have copied as the first predictive text suggestion when you click in a new field.

I have problems with this also. Sometimes works with a few different length presses but sometimes I give up....

I assumed my fingers didn't work properly, so I'm glad its not just me.

No, sometimes I have to hit refresh as it just won’t allow me to copy. Not very often though
