I would like to get two copies of this shape cut out of thin plate steel or aluminium with the vertical height being 27mm.

Could anyone on here do that for me and I will pay you in money or something similar?

Wouldn't this be more relevant?

If you can convert it to a DXF (should be able to do it online or with free software) there are a few companies that can do it. Problem is the order size. My go-to is laserprocess.co.uk but they have quite a big minimum order. The part is likely to be about £1, but I think the minimum is about £150. I did look into fractory.com who are much more expensive per part but have a lower minimum. For that size and fine detail then it really needs to be laser or water cut so you are limited to bigger manufacturing companies (who are probably shut). Alternatively you might be a able to find a jewellery maker who will do it by hand. I expect some of the small, craft fair people would be happy to take on work at the moment.

Ring Colin Furze. He's got a nice plasma cutter now...

I can do it Monday for you, though i'll need a prompt to remember.
I'll put it in CAD and send it for cutting

All the best

@sarell - thanks very much!

I have no idea what Hols' symbol means but this one means life/draft beer

The first one is "life". The second one is "death".

I've got and CNC plasma cutter and offcuts of 1mm, 2mm steel and 4mm corten kicking about

actually - re-reading 27mm is a bit dinky - so ignore. Got a laser CNC as a fixer-upper too but fixing it up is on the lockdown to-do list.

I think you’re gonna need a favour from someone

My Dad did this for me years ago

Print it to the correct size on ordinary paper, glue to whatever material with a water-soluble glue, and get yourself a fretsaw and a bunch of blades off Amazon, cut it out yourself. If it’s a bit ragged around the edges get some needle files and file smooth.
Quite satisfying to do.

@sarell - here's that nudge you asked for. I'd have sent a PM, but I don't think they're working.
