MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Looking for a family friendly campsite in the Lake district, for a week away in the summer 2 weeks before the BigBikeBash.
Any suggestions?
we camped at the quiet site at ullswater last summer with our two young kids. nice big playground for them to run around, and a decent pub with games room for later. if the weathers good its highly recomended.

We stayed at one just outside Ambleside - family friendly and a noise curfew after about 10.30pm (which we once broke, very loudly, at about 2am after a visit to The Sportsman's in town).
I would go back as a family - as long as the young me isn't there. 😉

National Trust site at Langdale is very nice and has a seperate family field.
The campsite at The BrothersWater Inn is ideal. Good location between Ulswater and Ambleside, excellent on site bar, good grub. tidy site.
Book early, it's a big site and not overcrowded but it is popular.
