The new Nikon Coolpix P7000 looks interesting:

I've been hoping that Nikon could produce something as nice as the Canon G11.
The previous P6000 was pretty awful, but this looks like much more the kind of thing.
28-200mm (equiv) lens, full manual, RAW, flash hotshoe, 720p video - all good. 🙂

I'd like them to build something like an FM2, with full frame sensor. Or a GF1 with interchangeable lenses. Megazooms on compacts are way inferior to a decent large aperture short zoom, or a prime.
