which camera is the better of the two here:
Canon Powershot SX200 or the Panasonic T27? he's looking for a new compact and these seem to be equally matched.......or is there something else he should be looking at? cheers 😀
I Vote for the Panasonic, I have a Leica D-Lux 4 which is made by panasonic, Leica reciprocate by making the lens's for Panasonic and the quality is superb.
I'm sure someone will be along to disagree tho' 😆
I just picked up a TZ7 and tbh, it's pretty amazing... Nobody's told it it's a compact 🙂 Supposedly the TZ5 is pretty close other than the video features. I can't speak for the Canon though but I can't get over how capable the TZ is. It doesn't feel massively tough though- then again I'm used to a titanium shelled Canon Ixus 800 which you could bounce cannonballs off so maybe that's just me being paranoid.
The Ricoh GX100 was recommended on here in a similar thread. I've just bought my dad one for xmas. The reviews are good and the quick play I've had with it is promising. There's the GX200 as well for slightly more.
