i have a peak design capture clip plate on the bottom of my camera. it is compatible with an 'arca swiss'
what i'm after is an 'arca swiss' quick release clamp which the peak design plate will fit into, which i can fit to the top of my walking pole (the walking pole has a 1/4" female thread and i have a male/male adaptor)
ie, i want to use my walking pole as a mono pod.
anyone point me in the right direction - the plate on the camera measures 38mm square, i'll put a pic up in a sec

Do you not need a monopod head compatible with the arca swiss plate to mount on your walking stick ?

I have that plate and it fits nicely on my Sirui tripod.
This looks like a cheap option :
