I have a camelbak-branded pouch for a phone that attaches to the shoulder strap of my pack, but with the new generation of larger smartphones its now too small & I'm worried about losing my phone.
So, what can i buy that will attach to a shoulder strap? Possibly thinking about a camera case for a point and shoot camera or compact.
what do others use?
Timbuktoo used to do a variety of strap pouches that would hold even a decent size camera. I've got one with my Lumix TZ30 in, so a smartphone ought to fit, in fact, I've got it with me, and I've just tried my iPhone 5, which is in an oversize TakTik case, and it's just a little bit too long, so without the case it would go in. Anything longer wouldn't go it. I can't measure it at the moment, I'm afraid. They may well do larger cases as well.
