Well, I think she's a very clever young lady who writes engaging and pithy and sometimes challenging lyrics to mostly sprightly songs, projecting a great deal of insouciance as well as looking, well... "yummy" covers it I think. 😉 😀

Ha ha using the psycological defence eh iolo, well you will be well versed in it. Not sad at all but dont see the point of putting lyrics up as a way of saying how much you dont like Lily Allen. Who claimed she was any kind of writing genius?

Put any lyrics up and most will be utter tosh with out the music, Love Me Do is hardly at the vanguard of writing but is regarded by many as being a great song.

Well, I just caught the last few songs of her set on Beeb3. Thought it seemed a bit disappointing - how was the rest of it?

Was she the gormless bint prattling on, on the telly earlier? Pink in places. Couldn't string 2 words together. Thick as a railway sleeper.

Lily Allen is very lovely indeed. She's bloody brilliant live! Lots of banter with the crowd, and obviously loves being on stage, as opposed to a lot of people who seem to regard it as a chore.
