Can anyone help with calculating the volume of an ooctagonal pond , each of the eight sides are 150mm long and its 800mm deep .
Very quiet unless you a waterfall and frogs.
Just use Pi r2h give or take, should be pretty close.
are you sure it's 150mm?
Frogs newts and a waterfall , now plus 20 fish .
each of the eight sides are 150mm long and its 800mm deep
That’s not a pond. That’s a big vase
With a bucket as you fill it with water
Just use Pi r2h give or take, should be pretty close.
Should have said I'm not the brightest , would be great in gallons or these new fangled litres .
Assuming it's 1500mm and 800mm deep, then it's 8.7m3 which is ~9000litres
That’s not a pond. That’s a big vase
Well spotted Perchy , 1500mm .
86911688.25 cubic millimetres or 86.9 Litres in old money or 27.7 imperial gallons in even older money.
Bloody odd shaped pond.
Daffy is the winner for
a. Spotting that it wasn’t 150mm
b. Correctly working out the volume
He is a newly appointed Doctor of Pondology however
And now it's a proper sized pond......
8691168824.54 cubic millimetres or 8691 Litres or 2172.8 imperial gallons.
Concur with Daffy but don't want his newt job in job share ta.
Woohoo!
First thing I've calculated correctly this week. For those of you flying Airbus this summer - I wish you the best of luck...
Cheers 🙂
16m3 or 3 skips.
+ some bunce 😉
