Supergrass called it a day this week, one of the most underated bands in a long time. Sad to see them go.
Yep great music with a sense of fun, did a couple of great albums in the 90's. Never really understood why they didn't get greater aclaim, perhaps they just didn't play the fame game.
Although its a long time since I have heared anything new from them.
Caught them live last year - sorry to see them call it a day...
Caught by the fuzz - pop punk at it's best. They were fabulous.
Cracking band. Richard III is a great track
Richard III is such a great song. I dunno, I thought they'd split up in about 2003.
One of my all time favourite songs is 'moving'.
Saw them live in 2008, Richard 3rd was brilliant! I should coco is. In my top 10 all time fav albums
Like Supergrass, however, announcing your split, just before you go on a 'farewell' tour, due to 'musical differences'. If I was cynical...
Gaze and Danny are still doing The Hot Rats thing so it is not all bad.
Bumped into Gaz in a pub in Oxford years ago, possibly the least rock and roll muso I've ever met unlike Richard Ashcroft..
Tales Of Endurance (Parts 4, 5 & 6) is fantastic
There's more money in breaking up, getting people nostalgic as they age and earn more money, then reforming and taking more of that more money.
Supergrass were pretty big
I remember having Gaz mutton chop sideburns
Great band and as stated above, very under rated, sorry to see them go
Road to rouen is a fantabulous album
Like Supergrass, however, announcing your split, just before you go on a 'farewell' tour, due to 'musical differences'. If I was cynical...
......you might assume they were [url=
it for the money.
Do you see what I did there?
I saw them live a few years ago, they were excellent.
