I have a top floor flat. There is a lovely attic which I want to convert for rooms. The only problem is the attic is shared by all tenants (5 including myself) in the common law. What should I do? any ideas... How many £££ should I offer them?

I have a attic flat. there was some unconverted eaves space alongside my flat - that belonged to me on my title deeds. I put 2 more rooms in it
The roof may belong to all flats but does the space under the roof? - in my case the roof belongs to all but the space under it - all of it even outside my flat belongs to me.
Perhpas you could do a deal with them by taking all the liability for the roof?
